Craniosacral therapy is a light, non-intrusive form of bodywork that addresses the bones of the head and spinal column. The goal is to release compression in those areas which alleviates stress and pain. Great for people who suffer from headaches, neck pain or who spend long hours in front of a computer.
Usually applied to specific issues and concentrated areas of the body that really feel stuck, and stagnate or the client feels the need to get in deep to meet the pain. The pressure is firm and feels deep, and is also usually applied at a slower pace. Not usually a full body application, but concentrated to specific areas and integrated with other pressure therapies. It has a tendency to leave a little lingering soreness, with the intention of increased mobilization of the tissues. It is recommended that the “hot stone enhancement” be added to this session for maximum release of tight muscles.
Full Body Hot Stone Massage
This massage is performed using heated basalt stones. The heat from the stones is transferred to the body and warms the tissue to allow ease of muscle movement. This type of massage is fabulous for clients seeking a deeply relaxing massage or clients who want to relax on a higher level. Cold stones can be added to this session for a truly unique experience!
Lomi Lomi Massage
The Lomi Lomi massage is a traditional Hawaiian massage therapy that takes you to a state of relaxation and stillness that frees your mind from blockage and stabilizes the mind. A cleansing process also takes place, releasing toxins, cleaning up the body, releasing body tension, healing pain and boosting the immune system. Lymphatic Massage is a gentle, light & rhythmic movement. Each stroke slightly moves the skin in the direction of the Lymphatic flow to encourage the drainage of fluid and waste. Stimulating the lymphatic system to promote the removal of bodily toxins, and help promote a healthy immune system.
Strong, moderately firm strokes often intended to mobilize restricted soft tissues. Can be applied full body or used locally for specific pain and restricted range of motion issues, or what clients often refer to as knots. The therapist may integrate long and short strokes while using this pressure. The sugar scrub enhancement really completes the session and leaves you feeling pampered!
Neuromuscular and Trigger Point Therapies
Specifically applied to trigger points in the body, or what clients often call knots. Sometimes the points are tender and highly sensitive which might require a lighter touch. Other times, they best respond to deep sustained pressure. Trigger points classically refer pain to areas that might be further away than one can imagine. Exploration is indicated, but when the source is found and the therapy applied, the release and pain reduction can be significant. This is great for those who suffer chronic pain in specific areas. As a women’s body expands and changes the muscles are pulled and stretched and may cause pain or discomfort, along with postural distortion and fatigue. A prenatal massage can assist in reducing some of these distresses. Prenatal massage is performed with the client in a side lying position surrounded by pillows to help support both mother and fetus. It can be a purely relaxing massage or a session concentrating on specific issues. Please note – prenatal massages can only be performed AFTER the first trimester.

Swedish Relaxation Massage
Long, rather light and broad strokes (effleurage and petrissage) are used to connect the body from one region to another, intention is on superficial tissues. This pressure is most often utilized for a relaxing full body session, also known as a Swedish massage. There is less tissue displacement in this pressure than in any of the others. If you are looking for total relaxation, then this is the massage for you!
This type of massage is meant to help prevent sports injuries, relieve swelling, fatigue and muscle tension. It is a great addition to training, or any level of exercise to assist muscle tissue in getting back to a neutral state. Many clients report less soreness and improved range, fewer injuries. It can be (and is recommended) to be performed before, during, and after athletic events, and for those who exercise frequently. This massage also consists of the therapist assisting you in stretching during your massage session. It is recommended that the “cold enhancement” be added to this session.
Thai Foot Massage
A Thai massage usually lasts for roughly 1 hour. During the treatment your therapist will massage your feet and lower legs, using a special wooden dowel to apply pressure to specific reflex points. Applying pressure in this way helps to stimulate the flow of energy and encourage the body’s natural healing process. Turn this 60 minute session into a 90 minute for extra time for spot specific work on neck, shoulders and back.
